Trump agrees to White House meeting with Biden

Donald Trump spent his first day as president-elect receiving congratulatory phone calls from his defeated opponent, world leaders and President Joe Biden as he began the process of turning his election victory into a government. LiveNOW from FOX host Josh Breslow spoke to John Hanley, political science lecturer at the University of Central Florida on the latest.

In the latest election news, the White House said Saturday that President Joe Biden and President-elect Donald Trump will meet next week in the Oval Office.

Such a meeting is traditional between the outgoing and incoming president, though Trump did not host Biden four years ago.

The meeting was set to take place Wednesday, Nov. 13.

Trump awarded Nevada's 6 electoral votes

President-elect Donald Trump won his sixth battleground state of the 2024 election early Saturday, beating Vice President Kamala Harris in Nevada. Political analyst and historian, Rich Rubino, joined LiveNOW from FOX's Josh Breslow to discuss.

The Associated Press called the swing state of Nevada for Trump early Saturday morning, three days after the election.

Trump, of course, did not need the state’s 6 electoral votes to help decide his victory, but it brought him one step closer to sweeping all seven of the swing states.

The last remaining state to be called still is Arizona.
