Explosive substance turned in at West Bend firehouse

WEST BEND (WITI) -- The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office Bomb Squad responded on Tuesday, April 9th to the third call this week from surrounding communities to investigate and render safe explosive materials.

The West Bend Police Department requested assistance after a highly explosive substance was turned in at a firehouse.

Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office Explosive Ordnance Detection (EOD) technicians responded at 9 a.m. Tuesday.
