Fast food fisticuffs! Drive-thru order for Chicken McNuggets leads to punches thrown
MENOMONEE FALLS -- Fast food fisticuffs! An order given at a McDonald's drive-thru ended up being wrong -- but you could say what happened next was even more wrong!
We've all had trouble at times hearing the fast food worker through the drive-thru machine.
McDonald's on Appleton Ave. in Menomonee Falls
Menomonee Falls police say it happened recently at a McDonald's on Appleton Avenue -- and it led to punches being thrown.
Police aren't "lovin'" what happened at the restaurant -- an incident that was caught on camera. Neither were some folks FOX6 News showed the surveillance video to.
"Ridiculous!" one person said after viewing the surveillance video.
"It's a little insane," another person said.

It began at the drive-thru, with an order for a 20-piece Chicken McNugget meal.
A couple from Milwaukee later told police they "were unable hear what the (drive-thru) employee was saying," and that a repeated question "was not answered."
Irate, the man and woman went inside.
Surveillance video shows an argument getting heated.
The video appears to show the 35-year-old female customer punching a 63-year-old employee in the face. Her headset is knocked off.

The employee then appears to retaliate -- running from behind the counter and grabbing the customer.
A second scuffle appears to result in a clump of hair being left behind.

Menomonee Falls police eventually handed out three disorderly conduct citations (not criminal charges, but rather, municipal fines) -- including one to the McDonald's employee.
While there is disagreement over whether the employee should face a fine, everyone FOX6 spoke with says while the customers were unhappy with their meal, they were way out of line.
The McDonald's worker did not lose her job -- something the female customer is upset about.
The man and woman were told if they ever come back to the restaurant, they could be arrested for trespassing.
FOX6 News spoke with the female customer on Wednesday night. She says what the video doesn't show is a McDonald's employee hit her. She says she was hit first -- not the other way around.
She tells FOX6 News she believes the video has been altered.
The McDonald's employee does admit she hit the female customer.
The female customer says she suffered a popped blood vessel in her arm from the fight -- and went to the hospital to be checked out. She wants the employee fired.
