Fatal wreck: Driver killed after car crashes into tree near Lisbon & Girard

MILWAUKEE -- Milwaukee police are investigating a deadly crash that occurred near Lisbon and Girard Monday morning, February 1st.

Police say a 26-year-old Milwaukee man was driving his 2000 Dodge Stratus westbound in the 6600 block of W. Lisbon Avenue at a high rate of speed when he lost control of his car and drove into a tree.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.  MPD’s investigation continues.
