FedEx launches Easy Returns: Box-free, label-free drop-offs

FedEx said it has launched a new service, designed to make returns easier for online shoppers. 

How It Works:

FedEx Returns will allow customers to access a low-cost, box-free, and label-free returns at around 3,000 drop-off locations, including FedEx Office and Kohl’s stores, with plans to expand nationwide.

Customers will be able to return items without having to print labels or have packaging.

Company leaders say the new service should simplify the returns process for customers with "hassle-free" returns at convenient locations.

"FedEx is excited to launch the new FedEx Easy Returns solution to help provide a convenient, hassle-free returns solution to even more consumers in 2025," Jason Brenner, senior vice president, digital portfolio at FedEx, said in an online news release. "This new service, supported by Blue Yonder, expands our growing network of drop-off locations conveniently located across the country."
