Fire departments collect peanut butter for Hunger Task Force
MILWAUKEE CO. (WITI) -- Dozens of Milwaukee County fire departments and the Hunger Task Force are teaming up to collect 100,000 jars of peanut butter.
Peanut butter is a staple in Hunger Task Force’s distribution of food because it is kid friendly, nutritious and easy to store. Recently, the Hunger Task force identified a critical shortage in their peanut butter stock.
Now, all sixty fire stations in Milwaukee County will be collection points for Hunger Task Force’s Peanut Butter Drive.
When you are out doing your grocery shopping next, you're encouraged to buy an extra jar of peanut butter and drop it off at one of the fire stations.
