Fire severely damages home in Town of Saukville, cause unknown
SAUKVILLE -- Ozaukee County officials are investigating the cause of a fire in a home on Blueberry Rd. in the Town of Saukville.
The fire was first reported shortly after 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 4th -- after the sheriff's office received a report of smoke and fire at the residence.
Fire caused extensive damage to the structure. But everyone inside was able to get out safely.
Fire departments from Fredonia, Waubeka, Belgium, Port Washington, Saukville, Cedarburg, Mequon, Grafton, Newburg, Silver Lake, Random Lake, Cedar Grove, and Oostburg responded and assisted with extinguishing the fire. Cedarburg Emergency Government also responded to assist with traffic control.
The cause of the fire has been ruled undetermined. But officials say it is not suspicious in nature.
