First measurable snow of the season made driving slick
GRAFTON -- The season's first snowfall made traveling on roadways rather challenging on Tuesday afternoon, December 18th.
Officials throughout southeast Wisconsin reported numerous spin-outs and crashes related to the snow. In Ozaukee County alone, deputies reported at least 20 vehicles slipping off the roadways due to the snow.
The first snowfall of the season is traditionally a time when drivers are just getting used to adjusting their driving habits; allowing for extra space between cars and extra time to break to a stop.
