GERMANTOWN -- Five Germantown High School students were injured in a two-vehicle crash Tuesday morning, November 3rd.
It happened at approximately 7:10 a.m. at the intersection of Mequon Road and River Lane.
According to police, the five students were traveling in a vehicle that was making a left turn from eastbound Mequon Road onto northbound River Lane when the driver turned in front of another vehicle.
The second vehicle involved, which contained three Germantown High School students, was making a right turn from westbound Mequon Road onto northbound River Lane when the collision occurred. The three students in the second vehicle did not sustain injuries.
All five students in the first vehicle were transported to area hospitals for non-life threatening injuries.
Police say the vehicle that contained the five students failed to yield the right-of-way to the second vehicle involved.
