Five injured in one-vehicle crash in Dodge County

DODGE COUNTY -- Dodge County Sheriff's officials say five people were injured in a one-vehicle crash in the Town of Lebanon just before 1:00 a.m. Sunday, November 11th.

Sheriff's officials say the crash occurred on Evergreen Road, just east of Highview Road.

Officials say a 2002 Ford Explorer driven by 47-year-old Jeffery Howie of Ashippun lost control on Evergreen Road while traveling eastbound. The vehicle went into the ditch and rolled over, causing injuries to the passengers and extensive damage to the vehicle. 

Four passengers, including 49-year-old Shannon Stehli of Ashippun, 46-year-old Peter Stehli of Ashippun, 42-year-old Kimberly Howie of Ashippun, 40-year-old Joshua Rawlins of Oconomowc and 37-year-old Mellisa Rawlins of Oconomowoc were injured. They were transported to the hospital for treatment.

Howie was uninjured.

Officials say alcohol is believed to be a factor in this crash. The crash remains under investigation.
