Four taken to hospital following two-vehicle crash on Monday

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a motor vehicle crash that happened at the intersection of N. 11th and W. Wright Streets at about 11:20 a.m. Monday, November 4th.

Police say a 2000 Mercedes S430 was southbound on N. 11th when the driver failed to stop for a stop sign, striking a westbound 2006 Ford Freestar van.

The Mercedes struck a cement light pole after the collision with the van.

The driver of the Mercedes, a 28-year-old Milwaukee man, was conveyed to the hospital where he is in critical condition.

Two other occupants of the Mercedes were conveyed to the hospital for treatment of non life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the Ford, who was the only occupant, was also conveyed to the hospital for treatment of non life-threatening injuries.
