Franklin police: Hales Corners man died of apparent natural causes while riding his bicycle
FRANKLIN -- Franklin police say a 54-year-old man died of apparent natural causes while riding his bicycle Saturday, June 13th. Officials with the Franklin Fire Department and Franklin police were dispatched to the 11900 block of West Ryan Road shortly before 5:30 p.m. Saturday for a report of a bicyclist lying in the roadway. Initial reports indicated the bicyclist may have been hit by a car. The 54-year-old Hales Corners man was found unresponsive. Flight for Life was called out to the scene. The man was pronounced dead following unsuccessful life-saving efforts by first responders. An investigation has revealed the bicyclist died of apparent natural causes.
