Full overnight closures: Demolition of former I-94 East bridges over 84th Street underway

MILWAUKEE -- As part of the Zoo Interchange Project, crews have begun tearing down the former I-94 East bridges over 84th Street.

Bridge demolition will take place overnight for approximately seven weeknights.

The construction must take place at night as they require the full closure of 84th Street, between Kearney Street and O'Connor Street.

Motorists should utilize 92nd Street or 76th Street to get around the nighttime closures.
