GLENDALE (WITI) -- Authorities on Wednesday, August 20th responded to the area near Green Bay Avenue and W. Bender Road in Glendale for a gas leak.
It happened just before 9:30 a.m.
The North Shore Fire Department tells FOX6 News a three to four-inch gas main was struck while a contractor was doing road work.
A We Energies crew was dispatched to the scene — and the gas has been shut off.
The North Shore Fire Department says about a dozen people were ordered out of their homes for about 45 minutes.
No additional details have been released at this time.
