Gas main break closes lanes in both directions on Chase Avenue

MILWAUKEE -- A gas main struck on Chase Avenue in Milwaukee, blocked all lanes in both directions between Lincoln Avenue and 5th Street Tuesday, April 30.

According to We Energies, a third party contractor struck and damaged a gas main a little before 10 a.m.

We Energies located the leak and shut off the gas. A crew repaired the gas main and traffic resumed as normal.
