WASHINGTON COUNTY (WITI) -- On Tuesday, September 2nd, the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) will begin a $350,000 resurfacing project of the Paradise Drive Park and Ride lot on Parkway Drive in the city of West Bend, Washington County. The lot will be completely closed beginning this day.
Built seven years ago, the Paradise Dr. lot is in deteriorating condition, requiring areas of pavement replacement and patching on an ongoing basis.

The contractor, Vinton, plans on completing the project in late-October.
The Paradise Dr. Park and Ride will be closed for the duration of construction. WisDOT asks that motorists do not use adjacent businesses for park and ride services.
Motorists and transit users of the Paradise Dr. Park and Ride can utilize the Jackson Park and Ride located at County P and Apple Lane, near US 45 at Exit 63. The signed detour route from the closed Paradise Dr. Park & Ride lot follows Parkway Dr. northwest to Paradise Dr., west to US 45, south to WIS 60, one block east to County P and north several hundred feet to Apple Lane.
