Get your dairy on! NEW flavors featured at Wisconsin State Fair "Milk House"

WEST ALLIS (WITI) -- Never fear – the cup of milk that only costs a quarter is still here. The Milwaukee Bucks announced on Wednesday, July 30th a new multi-year sponsorship with Prairie Farms Dairy, Inc., the official milk of the Milwaukee Bucks, which keeps the Wisconsin State Fair tradition alive. The popular 25-year-old fair attraction will now be known as the “Milwaukee Bucks Milk House - Presented by Prairie Farms Dairy” and will continue to sell everyone’s favorite 25-cent milk.

“We’re excited to have Prairie Farms Dairy join the growing family of Bucks corporate partners and look forward to helping them grow their footprint in Wisconsin,” said David Snyder, vice president corporate partnerships for the Bucks.

The State Fair staple will be located at Main Street and South Grandstand Avenue, close to its original location from 1989. More than 160,000 cups of 25-cent flavored milk are sold annually as fairgoers quench their thirst with the Dairy State’s refreshing, healthy, delicious drink. This year’s Milk House will feature five of Prairie Farm’s tasty flavors: chocolate, root beer, strawberry, birthday cake and fruit hoops.

"It`s been a lot of fun on the marketing side here working with the Bucks, just trying to come up with something unique and different and these two flavors won out," Prairie Farms Sales Manager Stacy Wand said.

Bucks promotional support will enhance the Milk House experience with daily visits from team personalities – including current and past Bucks players, along with team broadcasters – and entertainers like Bango, the Milwaukee Bucks Dancers and Hoop Troop. All will be available to interact with fans, sign autographs and take pictures.

A complete listing of Bucks personalities who will appear at the Milwaukee Bucks Milk House – Presented by Prairie Farms Dairy will be updated regularly on Bucks.com/StateFair.

The adjacent Bucks barn will provide complete information on the upcoming season as well as a selection of team and Milk House adult and youth merchandise. Bucks ticket representatives will be on hand to offer ticket packages for the soon-to-be-released 2014-15 schedule.

On Thursday, July 31st, Day One of the 2014 Wisconsin State Fair, there was no shortage of folks stopping by the Milk House for a delicious 25-cent cup of milk.

"It never stops until we close around 9:00, 9:30 and even then people are like 'can you just stay open another hour?'" Milk House Manager Molly Wirnsberger said.
