Glendale Motel 6 homicide; Alabama man charged
GLENDALE, Wis. - A 33-year-old Mississippi man was shot and killed at the Glendale Motel 6 Saturday, July 29. The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office identified him as Devon Phillips.
It happened around 3:40 p.m. at the motel on Port Washington Road. North Shore Fire/Rescue said the victim died at the scene.
A 23-year-old man from Alabama and a 19-year-old man from Georgia were arrested. The Georgia man was released without charges.

The Alabama man was taken to the Milwaukee County Jail and charged with first-degree reckless homicide.
Police said the three men were out-of-town contractors that knew each other, and they all were staying at Motel 6.
