Watch: Firefighters save goat stranded on 5th-floor ledge in Spain

What we know:

MADRID, Spain - A goat stuck on the fifth-floor window ledge in Madrid, Spain, had to be rescued by firefighters earlier this week. 

Bomberos Madrid released video showing firefighters using carrots and lettuce to get the goat off the window ledge and onto a nearby balcony.

According to a report from Telemadrid, the apartment with balcony had been vacant for "some time."

A neighbor reported the incident and said the animal came from "heaven." 

What we don't know:

The owner has not been found. 

What's next:

The goat was sent to a local emergency veterinarian service which will rehome it.
