MADISON — Wisconsin Democratic Gov. Tony Evers says he has "no opinion at all" on whether President Donald Trump should be impeached.
The issue has divided Democrats in the wake of the Mueller investigation report that detailed 10 areas of potential obstruction of justice.
Evers tells The Associated Press in an interview Wednesday that he doesn't see the Mueller report as a vindication of President Trump, but it is something Congress needs to examine.
Evers says, "whether that's impeachment or not I'm not in way in a position to make a judgment there."
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has urged caution in pushing for impeachment. But other Democrats, including presidential candidates Sen. Elizabeth Warren, have been pushing for Congress to impeach.
President Trump will be in the Green Bay area on Saturday for a rally.
