Gov. Scott Walker says high likelihood of seeking third term
JANESVILLE — Gov. Scott Walker is hinting again that he'll seek a third term as governor.
Walker made the comments to reporters Tuesday after he signed a bill at the Rock County Courthouse expanding the state's Family Care program to the county. Walker says he will wait until late 2016 or after the end of the year to make a formal decision, but he says he feels good about the progress he's made and thinks he can build off it.
Walker's approval rating dropped during his presidential campaign last year. He is currently touring the state conducting invitation-only listening sessions and says he is spending time thinking about the next 20 years for the state. He said he held a listening session Tuesday for veterans in Janesville.
