MADISON — Gov. Scott Walker has announced a new website tracking state agencies' performance.
The site, performance.wi.gov, contains data about each cabinet agency's goals and their progress toward reaching them. The 17 agencies include the departments of Natural Resources, Transportation, Tourism, Corrections, Health Services and Veterans Affairs.
Walker called for the site in an executive order he issued Friday ahead of Sunshine Week, a national effort by news organizations and other groups to promote open government. The week began Sunday and runs through Saturday.
