Gov. Walker tours Create-A-Pack Foods in Ixonia, celebrates 114,000 square foot expansion
IXONIA -- Governor Scott Walker met with Create-A-Pack Foods, Inc. employees Monday, November 2nd in Ixonia.
Walker toured their current facility and joined in celebrating the growth of the company. Create-A-Pack Foods, Inc. is currently constructing an 114,000 square-foot addition to their existing facility.
“It’s great to be here at Create-A-Pack Foods today to celebrate their expansion,” Governor Walker said. “This is a major accomplishment for them, and we’re happy to see expansions like this throughout the state as well. Businesses are thriving in Wisconsin, but our work is far from over, and we will continue to work to develop the skilled workforce that employers need to fill their open positions.”

Create-A-Pack Foods, Inc., which has been operating in Ixonia since 1997, is a food contracting, manufacturing, and packaging facility for both liquid and dry foods. Their liquid contract manufacturing and food processing capabilities allow for flexible private label liquid condiments, including sauces, dressings, icings, syrups, confections, juices, energy gels, supplements, and nutraceuticals. They are also able to accommodate a wide-range of dry food processing and packaging options and produce a variety of custom designed private label dry foods, such as infant cereals and snacks, dry snacks, dry mixes, spice blends, dry beverages, and confections.
Create-A-Pack Foods, Inc. currently has 225 employees and expects to add around 50 additional jobs with their expansion in Ixonia. They have an additional facility in Ixonia that handles tree nuts, peanuts, and confections, as well as two facilities in Oconomowoc that handle dry products. The expansion in Ixonia allows Create-A-Pack Foods, Inc. to better manage their inventory and handle their liquid processing.
