Governor Walker makes a stop in South Carolina before heading to Israel
SOUTH CAROLINA (WITI) -- Governor Walker is on the road again, stopping in a crucial state before heading overseas.
Walker spent the day in South Carolina at a conservative rally on Saturday, May 9th.
Walker talked mostly about Washington, saying the government needs to get out of the way. He said the American dream was out of reach and blamed democrats for relying on government to spur growth.
Governor Walker touted his own achievements in Wisconsin and also took shots at President Obama's foreign policies.
"I can't tell you how frustrated I am with this president and the people who advised him like Hillary Clinton -- because you've got a president who drew a line in the sand and allowed people to cross it. You got a president, who in the past year, just called ISIS the JV squad, who called Yemen a success story -- who calls Iran, Iran a place we can do business with," said Governor Walker.
Saturday night Governor Walker is on his way to Israel.
Walker says his trip to Israel will be an educational trip for him, and he will be there through Thursday, May 14th. Reports say he will meet with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Walker still has not declared his candidacy for president in 2016.
