MADISON (WITI) -- Governor Scott Walker released a state the following statement celebrating the 4th of July.
The statement reads as follows:
As we gather together with family and friends this 4th of July, we celebrate our freedom. We remember the sacrifices of those who came before us. Our forefathers dedicated their lives to build our great country and those freedoms are continually defended by our armed services.
Throughout our nation's history, brave individuals stepped forward with courage and conviction to defend the freedoms we hold so dear. We are grateful for them. I hope each of you have a safe and enjoyable 4th of July and may God bless this great country.
