Governor Walker, Speaker Ryan deliver remarks at "CPAC" conference in Maryland
MARYLAND -- Governor Scott Walker was in Maryland Thursday, March 3rd, speaking at the Conservative Political Action Convention -- or CPAC.
Walker praised conservative legislation passed across the country, but criticized the lack of work getting done in Washington, D.C.
Walker suspended his campaign for the presidency in September.
House Speaker Paul Ryan also spoke at the convention. He emphasized the importance of small government, and the need to not measure the country's success on how much money the government spends.
All of the Republican presidential candidates are slated to speak at this year's conference, including front-runner Donald Trump, who will speak on Saturday, March 5th.
An anti-Trump PAC called "Make America Awesome" is petitioning the organization to rescind its offer to Trump.
