Grafton police: Bicyclist struck by vehicle on Green Bay Road near Northbrooke Drive
GRAFTON -- Grafton police say a male bicyclist was taken to Froedtert Hospital via Flight for Life after that bicyclist was struck by a vehicle on Green Bay Road near Northbrooke Drive on Tuesday afternoon, August 2nd.
The call for this crash came in shortly before 1:00 p.m.
Police say the bicyclist was riding on the Interurban Trail prior to the crash. When the bicyclist came to the point where the trail crosses over Green Bay Road, police say he pulled out into traffic and was struck by the vehicle.
The bicyclist is believed to have suffered head and shoulder injuries. He was taken to a hospital in Grafton, and then transferred to Froedtert -- taken there via Flight for Life.
The driver of the vehicle that struck the bicyclist wasn't hurt.
