Greendale business burglary leads to police chase, crash; vehicle stolen
GREENDALE, Wis. - A Milwaukee woman was taken into custody following a business burglary and a police chase in Greendale on Friday, Dec. 13.
According to police, officers responded to a business in the area of 76th Street and Grange Avenue around 12:21 a.m. for a report of a burglary to a closed business.
Employees on scene told police they witnessed the suspect enter the closed business and take merchandise. The same suspect was believed to be involved in two robberies of an employee at the same business within the last month.
When police arrived at the scene, they attempted to pull over the suspect vehicle, a silver SUV, which resulted in a vehicle pursuit.
Greendale police said officers terminated the pursuit at I-43 and Holt. Milwaukee County Sheriff's deputies continued the pursuit, which ended when the suspect vehicle crashed into another vehicle near 76th and Capitol. No injuries were reported.

It was later determined that the silver SUV involved in the burglary was stolen from the City of Greenfield.
A 21-year-old Milwaukee woman was taken into custody. She was taken to the Milwaukee County Criminal Justice Facility and will be referred to the DA's office on multiple charges – including robbery, burglary and fleeing an officer.
