Greenfield 84 South bomb threat, witnesses report

Last-minute holiday shopping was interrupted Wednesday evening, Dec. 22 in Greenfield with a police presence at 84 South.

According to Greenfield police, the Ross Dress for Less store at 84th and Layton got a bomb threat phone call after 7:30 p.m. 

Authorities evacuated the store and the neighboring stores.

The Milwaukee County Sheriff Office was called to the scene and searched the interior and perimeter – nothing was found.

The incident remains under investigation by the Greenfield Police Department.
