Gun recovered at Milwaukee's Vincent High School, three students arrested

MILWAUKEE -- Three Vincent High School students were arrested by Milwaukee police on Friday morning, December 4th for their connection with a semi-automatic handgun that was recovered by officers at the school.

A spokesman for Milwaukee Public Schools told FOX6 News "at no point was there a direct threat to students in the building." He did say the building was on a “code red” for a brief period of time -- and student movement was limited while the investigation was underway.

The students involved in this issue now face consequences in both the criminal justice system and in MPS.

The MPS spokesperson said "this is a serious situation" and it is being treated as such.
