MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- It's being called one of the largest data breaches in corporate history. The target this time, Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield -- and officials say up to 80 million past and current customers may be affected.
Anthem is the second largest health insurer in the U.S. At this point, there's no evidence that credit card or medical information was compromised. But the Better Business Bureau says people still need to be vigilant.
"Hacking is part of our society," said Ran Hoth, President and CEO of Better Business Bureau of Wisconsin.
We live in a hacking era. And Hoth says the hackers who targeted Anthem stole a lot of harmful information.
