The sitcom originally aired from 1987 to 1995 but continues to bring in strong ratings in reruns.
Warner Bros. TV is now reportedly considering a new take on the sitcom classic.
John Stamos, who played Uncle Jesse, has an ownership in the show and is reportedly leading the charge for the revival.
Candace Cameron Bure (D.J.), Jodie Sweetin (Stephanie) and Andrea Barber (Kimmy) are on board, while Bob Saget (Danny) and Dave Coulier (Joey) are also reportedly involved in discussions.
The original executive producer and creator are also involved, according to the report.
