MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- Milwaukee's Pedal Tavern has to clear another hurdle in order to serve alcohol.
Last year, state legislators approved a law to allow groups to bring and drink canned bear on the Pedal Tavern.
However, individual municipalities can still choose to prohibit drinking alcohol on the vehicles.
Milwaukee Alderman Robert Bauman has drafted two proposals -- one that would allow beer and one that would prohibit it.
The city Public Works Committee will hold a public hearing Wednesday morning to discuss the proposals before sending one recommendation to the Common Council.
