Home in Town of Darien a total loss after fire Saturday morning

WALWORTH COUNTY (WITI) -- A home in Walworth County is considered a total loss after a fire broke out on Saturday morning, March 1st.

It happened in the Town of Darien in Walworth County -- specifically, at W8726 School Section Road, between Old Highway 89 and Highway 14.

Over 20 area fire departments were called in.

Early indications are that the fire started in a chimney -- and then spread to the home itself.

No one was injured, and pets were able to make it out safely.
