Homicide in Madison: Woman shot & killed in Metro Market parking lot

MADISON -- Madison police are investigating a homicide that occurred on the city's East Side.

We're told a 25-year-old woman was shot and killed in the parking lot of a Metro Market store on Cottage Grove Road.

It happened just after 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 2nd.

No one is in custody -- but police say this shooting was not random, and they know who they are looking for.
