Vigil for woman killed in Milwaukee near 36th and Chambers
A woman was shot and killed in a triple shooting in Milwaukee's Sherman Park neighborhood Saturday near 36th and Chambers, leaving behind two young girls.
MILWAUKEE - A 30-year-old woman was killed in Milwaukee's Sherman Park neighborhood on Saturday, Oct. 9.
According to the Milwaukee Police Department, the woman was one of three victims in a triple shooting that happened near 36th and Chambers around 4:30 p.m. A vigil was held in her honor Sunday night, with loved ones identifying her as Alisha, telling FOX6 she leaves behind two girls, ages 8 and 10.
A 23-year-old from Milwaukee was shot multiple times and taken to the hospital in critical but stable condition and is expected to survive, police said.
A Milwaukee man, 44, was also shot and taken to the hospital in stable condition and is expected to survive.
Milwaukee police are seeking the shooter(s), and what led to it is not yet known.
