DODGE CO. -- Dodge County authorities arrested a man who is suspected of robbing a Horicon bank on Friday, January 18th.
Officials say the suspect walked into the U.S. Bank branch on Washington St. and presented a note to the teller. It stated he had a gun and that no one would be hurt if he was given money.
The suspect apparently drew attention to himself as he left the bank and a witness contacted police with a detailed description.
Beaver Dam police located the vehicle driven by the suspect and a pursuit ensued. Speeds during the chase reached 110 miles per hour on Highway 151. That pursuit ended when the driver lost control and rolled his vehicle.
The suspect was transported to Beaver Dam Community Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The case will be forwarded for review to the Dodge County District Attorney's Office.
