Washington County crash; 1 hurt, taken by Flight for Life
WASHINGTON COUNTY, Wis. - An 18-year-old Slinger man was taken to the hospital by Flight for Life Wednesday morning, Nov. 1 following a crash on I-41 near Holy Hill Road. It happened shortly before 5 a.m.
According to police, the driver was traveling southbound on I-41 when he lost control and struck the center median barriers – causing the vehicle to roll and come to a rest on the northbound shoulder.
When officers arrived at the scene, they located the driver trapped in the vehicle. The Germantown Fire Department arrived and extricated the driver from the vehicle. He was transported by Flight for Life with life-threatening injuries.
No additional vehicles were involved in the accident.

The crash temporarily shut down all lanes on I-41/I-45 at Holy Hill Road.
The Wisconsin State Patrol will be reconstructing the crash scene. Slick road conditions appear to be a contributing factor.
