CALIFORNIA (WITI) -- A California teenager found what he believed to be a chicken's brain in his fast food meal. That teen told FOX6's sister station FOX40 he sent a message to KFC on Twitter in early February. He says all he wants his his $4 back.
"I do eat there often, so I mean, coming across something like that is just like -- wow. (It looked) like a brain to me," Stockton High School student Manuel Cobarubies said.

Cobarubies says he found it alongside his chicken breast, thighs and corn.
"I ended up spitting it in the trash can because I got grossed out by that," Cobarubies said.
Then, he took to Twitter.
“I directly mentioned to them -- and a bunch of people started tagging them and I guess it kind of raised awareness to them when a lot of people started tagging them in my tweet," Cobarubies told FOX40.
The tweet quickly made the rounds on the Internet.
Cobarubies said KFC did contact him -- but other than a quick "sorry," he hadn't heard back as of Monday morning, February 9th.
He says all he wants is a refund.
“As far as what I paid for my meal -- because I mean, my meal didn’t sit too well with me," Cobarubies said.
FOX40 sent a message to KFC on Twitter and called their corporate headquarters.
Hours after Cobarubies sent his tweet, he says he got a call from a KFC consultant who said the brain is actually a kidney or a gizzard, and it's safe to eat.
Cobarubies did get his lunch money back. He says he isn't sure he'll be back to KFC for lunch.
"I'm probably just going to have to start packing my own meals -- making my own sandwiches," Cobarubies said.
