ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Police officer Don Re is known for his poignant blog posts. His post about the senseless death of a child went viral last year. Now he is weighing in on another death. This time it was another St. Louis area police officer who died in the line of duty.
Officer Blake Snyder was shot and killed early Thursday morning. He was responding to a call for a disturbance in south St. Louis County. An 18-year-old has been charged with murder for the shooting. Snyder's partner returned fire, critically injuring the teen. He is expected to survive, according to Fox2Now.
