Illinois company proposes two new buildings near Amazon fulfillment facility in Kenosha
KENOSHA -- An Illinois company is proposing building two new buildings near the facility east of I-94.
Illinois developer Conor Commercial Real Estate is proposing almost 500,000 square feet of industrial buildings southeast of 120th Avenue and 38th Street, according to an application under city review. It plans a 398,120-square-foot speculative warehouse building.
A second building with 98,290 square feet would follow. Conor likely would find a business to occupy the second facility before it is built, according to what Molly McShane of Conor Commercial wrote in a November 10th letter to Kenosha officials.
Since Amazon opened their fulfillment center, several developments have been proposed for the area.
