"I'm frustrated; it's just wrong:" Walker, Ryan slam Trump for comments against federal judge
MILWAUKEE -- Governor Scott Walker has slammed Donald Trump for comments against a federal judge, but he isn't taking back his endorsement of Trump -- at least not yet.

This shows the difficult path ahead for Walker and House Speaker Paul Ryan, who, on Tuesday, June 7th, called Trump's comments "textbook racism" -- yet both men have endorsed Trump.
After Trump lashed out at a federal judge -- calling him a Mexican when he was born in Indiana, Walker expressed concern.

"I`m frustrated right now. It`s just wrong. I don`t think it has any place in American society today," Walker said.
Walker said he wants Trump to apologize, but said he's not taking back his earlier endorsement of Trump.
"A lot of us expect -- not as Republicans, but as Americans -- that if you want to be viewed as a credible candidate, you need to make it clear that you don`t associate with those beliefs," Walker said.

On Tuesday, Ryan said Trump is still better than the Democrats' likely nominee -- Hillary Clinton. This, despite the fact that he called Trump's comment "textbook racism."

"I am not going to defend these kind of comments because they are indefensible," Ryan said.
Trump in Tuesday night said his comments regarding the judge in a civil case against his for-profit education company, Trump University, were "misconstrued" as an attack against people of Mexican heritage, but he went on to criticize the judge for not giving him a fair trial.
"I`m not a big fan of Hillary Clinton. I`d love to be talking about a contrast there," Walker said.

Walker said he wants to focus on defeating Clinton, but suggested that Trump is standing in the way.
"I`d love to have that kind of discussion going forward, but we need to clarify this issue before we can have that kind of contrast," Walker said.
FOX6's Theo Keith asked Walker what would get him to withdraw his support for Trump, given that Walker signed a pledge last year to support the eventual nominee.
Walker didn't say -- pivoting his concern to this latest comment from Trump.
