"I'm shocked about all of this:" Wife surprises husband with Garth Brooks tickets

MILWAUKEE -- A local couple is heading to the Garth Brooks concert tonight, September 25th. It's something that they've been trying to do together for almost two decades.

19 years ago, Scott Streitmatter asked Tammy to go with him to the Garth Brooks concert for their first date. She wanted to go, but had a prior commitment that she couldn't get out of. Scott ended up going with a friend.

Scott and Tammy still dated, and have now been married for 17 years.

Tammy decided to surprise Scott with tickets for his show on Friday -- and with the help of FOX6 News, Scott's reaction was caught on camera.

"I'm shocked about all of this," said Scott.

Tammy also was able to find Scott's Garth Brooks shirt that he bought 19 years ago at the concert.
