MILWAUKEE -- General Mitchell International Airport has a new director.
Milwaukee County has hired Ismael Bonilla as Mitchell Airport director -- eight months after the prior airport chief abruptly resigned, the Milwaukee Business Journal is reporting.
Bonilla is currently the chief business development officer at Hi-Lite Airfield Services in Jacksonville, Florida. Bonilla currently oversees business development for the airfield and runway maintenance company's operations in the U.S., Latin America and the Middle East.
He will start as the new airport director in Milwaukee on February 1st.
Milwaukee County's search for a new airport director started when former director Terry Slaybaugh left after only four months.
