Jackknifed semi shuts down EB I-894 at Mitchell Interchange

MILWAUKEE (WITI) -- A semi jackknifed in Milwaukee's Mitchell Interchange early Thursday afternoon, October 31st. That initially forced the closure of two lanes of the eastbound I-894 at 19th St. Just after 12:30 p.m., the eastbound lanes were closed altogether to help expedite the removal of the truck.

Shortly after 2 p.m., the semi was removed from the interchange -- and traffic began to flow again.

We do not know if anyone has been injured in the accident -- or whether any other vehicles are involved.
