Jefferson County drowning, 14-year-old boy recovered from swimming pond
A 14-year-old boy drowned in a swimming pond in Sullivan in Jefferson County; his body recovered Sunday.
JEFFERSON COUNTY, Wis. - The Western Lakes Fire District was called to the scene of a reported drowning in the Town of Sullivan Saturday night, June 18. It happened shortly before 7 p.m.
A water rescue dive team was called in to search for a 14-year-old male in a swimming pond on the property.

The search was suspended at 9:30 p.m. due to nightfall.
At 7:30 a.m. Sunday, search crews resumed their search finding the teen around 8:30 a.m. with the help of an underwater drone with sonar technology.
