Jefferson County fatal crash; driver failed to negotiate curve: officials
JEFFERSON COUNTY, Wis. - One person is dead following a single-vehicle crash in Jefferson County on Monday, Jan. 13. It happened on CTH Y in the Town of Jefferson.

What we know:
Preliminary investigation shows that a vehicle was traveling southbound on CTH Y when it failed to negotiate a curve just north of Vogel Road.
The vehicle rolled several times before coming to rest in a field on the east side of the road.

The driver was pinned in the vehicle. He was extricated, and life-saving measures were attempted. However, they were unsuccessful and the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
