Johnson Controls CEO Alex Molinaroli responds to attacks from Clinton, Sanders
MILWAUKEE -- Johnson Controls CEO Alex Molinaroli has responded to the stream of attacks from Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders.
The attacks are due to Johnson Controls moving its corporate headquarters to Ireland as part of a merger with Tyco.
The merger will save an estimated $150 million in U.S. taxes.
In an op-ed for the Detroit Free Press, he clarified the company's case, saying: "This merger is not motivated by taxes, as has been suggested, but rather, an incredible opportunity to combine two global leaders, which will lead to continued investments and expanded opportunities for our U.S. workforce."
