KENOSHA COUNTY, Wis. - The Kenosha County Sheriff's Department seized a "large amount" of narcotics and a gun after two people ran off from a traffic stop Saturday, Aug. 5.
Officials said a deputy and his K-9 partner stopped a vehicle on I-94 by Highway KR around 4:30 p.m. Two men were in the vehicle, and the deputy asked them to step out of the vehicle. One deputy took their IDs to his squad car when the two men took off running along I-94.
Officials said the men initially ran east, off of I-94, but shortly after, were spotted running west across all eight lanes of I-94 towards Apple Holler.

Officials set up a second perimeter, and several K-9s and drones were used to find them. The two men got away but were last seen in the vast fields to the northwest of Apple Holler.
Authorities found a vast amount of narcotics and two firearms inside the vehicle. One firearm had been modified to fire fully automatic.
