Remembering Kenny Davidson

"We're trying to find justice for Kenny Davidson. Hopefully, bring some much-needed closure and answers to the family," said Chief Patton, Kenosha Police Department.

The 32-year-old was shot and killed near 47th Street and 36th Avenue in Kenosha in June 2024.

"We just want justice for him. Because he didn't deserve what happened to him," said Yolanda McKenzie, Kenny's mother.

Mckenzie tells FOX6 he went on a walk with a friend when this happened.

She says he was in town visiting from Washington to attend his grandmother's funeral.

"We are heartbroken, we are frustrated, and we just want answers," McKenzie added.

Kenosha police held a news conference on Friday, Feb. 7, hoping to get new leads in their investigation.

What they're saying:

"We spoke to numerous witnesses. We've gathered surveillance video and taken every piece of evidence we possibly could. This investigation has been long and we are still actively working the case. But today we're reaching out to the community for help," added Patton.

"I just hope and pray that they find it in their heart and conscious to come forward. Knowing what they are going through and thinking," said McKenzie.
